A Black & Gold Fundraising Gala to Benefit
Be Great Foundation
Our annual fundraising gala will allow us to deliver our Dreamers + Builders Game, App, and 3D Design, Flight School Drone Academy, and GEMS in STEM Programs to Triad teens and young adults interested in pursing a career in a Technology or IT career field.
Itinerary
welcome reception
Arrive, meet and mingle with other guests from 1pm-1:30pm
luncheon
A delicious hot lunch will be served promptly at 1:30 PM.

We present to you the STEMMIE Award honorees. Learn more about Be Great Foundation. Hear from some our participants and scholars starting at 2 p m.
line dancing
Get your line dance on properly from 2:45-4. We will have a 'Dancing with the Stars" style competition so come prepared!

our mission
We economically empower people from marginalized communities with skills, knowledge and resources to build successful STEM careers so that they earn a thriving wage and begin their journey towards generational wealth.
our cause
Only 30% of Guilford County High School Graduates go on to attend college. What happens to the 70%. By providing a foray into STEM/IT careers for teens and adults from marginalized groups we do our part to close the wealth, equity and opportunity gap
our programs
In our Dreamers + Builders programs teen participants learn how to build a game, app or virtual reality application. Our Flight School Drone Academy helps teens get FAA licensed as a professional drone pilot. Our Certification Support programs help young adults gain an in demand tech cert.
